Your Accommodations

The Opal Butte Ranch, owned and operated by the Kirkpatrick family, has luxurious 5-star accommodations. Jim Kirkpatrick built every structure on the property himself, and the quality is second to none. Completed in 2018, the main lodge boasts over 5000 sqft of creature comforts and amenities. We gather at the lodge before and after every hunt. Nights on the back patio after an evening of chasing elk in September are some of the most electric and fun evenings on the ranch.

The Client Cabins have every amenity needed to relax after a day spent chasing elk in the foothills of the blue mountains. Enjoy a hot shower and a warm place to rest. Each hunter will have his own space to unwind and relax.

The archery range is just down from the main lodge and boasts shootable foam targets out to 100 yards. We encourage all of our guests to use the range while in camp daily. Please bring field tips as we do not allow broadheads on the range.
